2022 #24 (20.06.-23.06.)

First contracts for the new crop of wheat and rapeseed on the spot market, marked last week on Produktna berza. Low demand still impacts lower turnover. During this week only 950 tons were traded, with a financial value of 416.118,00 €.

The most active was the corn market. A higher price level of supply, in comparison with the previous week, did not result in trading of larger quantities. Trading started with a price of 272,55 €/t, while until the end of the week, the contract was concluded at 264,03 €/t. Statistically, the price recorded an increase of 2,70%. The weighted price for this week was 271,10 €/t.

From the beginning of the week, lower activity was noticed in the wheat market. In the middle of the week, with the first harvested area, there was a higher supply of wheat’s new crop. The supply was for wheat with 14-15% protein. Contracts were concluded at a price of 323,65 €/t for wheat with 15% protein. On the other side, demand for crop 2021 was low. Buyers at the end of the week were at a lower level in comparison with the previous week, but no contract was realized.

Since the beginning of the month, soybean has had the same price level. Higher supply was noted, while demand was very low. During this week, contracts were realized in a very narrow price range from 617,49 to 618,34 €/t. The weighted price was 618,17 €/t, which is a minimal decrease of 0,07%.

A much higher supply of barley, compared to demand, has been present since the beginning of the week. As the week went on, the interest of buyers decreased. Barley was traded at the beginning of the week at 281,06 €/t and at the end of the week the price was 272,55 €/t. The weighted price was 276,81 €/t, which is a fall of 4,41% compared to last week.

The contract for rapeseed was realized at 725,00 €/t. At the end of the week, demand was at a lower price level from 645,00 to 650,00 €/t.

Sunflower meal supply was in the price range from 293,84 to 306,62 €/t, but demand did not respond.
